How it works.

Three steps. No markup games.

1. A deposit holds your spot.

$300 for a quarter, $500 for a half, $1,000 for a whole. Your deposit holds a specific size and gets matched to a steer. Refund window and full terms are on the Refunds page.

2. Final price at harvest.

~30 days before pickup we calculate the total: actual hanging weight (about 60% of live weight) × current Texas market rate. You see the number before you confirm.

3. Pickup.

Processed local, packaged, frozen. November.

Why no flat $/lb?

Per-pound math is for comparing grocery-store cuts. This isn't that. You're paying for one specific steer, raised by one specific rancher, on one specific feed program. The math reflects that.
